Home and Community Based Services Waivers in California

I am no one official - I'm a mom of a child who uses a ventilator and accesses MediCal through California's HCBA Waiver. This website exists because kids like my son fall through the cracks.

They really shouldn't!

California has tons of programs that are supposed to help medically fragile, disabled kids live at home with their families. The problem is that the programs are all super confusing, and the people who are supposed to be helping families don't understand the programs they're supposed to be helping with.

This started out as just advocacy for medically fragile kids, but it slowly morphed into advocacy for medically fragile and technology dependent adults.
